Spain is different: Expect a night time event
If you’re used to dinner at 6:30 PM, consider this your friendly cultural upgrade. In Spain, they don’t eat dinner late, they eat dinner when the night starts. So yes, cocktails roll from 8:45 PM and the banquet begins at 10 PM, and then we glide past midnight like it’s the most normal thing in the world. The schedule you see is actually the earliest the venue would allow. Truly. Their first suggestion was much later. We negotiated you the "early-bird" version. Crazy, right?
Pro tips:
-
Have a late lunch or a pre-game snack if you fear you will be hungry.
-
Siesta could be your best friend if a strategic power nap will help you make it to well past midnight.
-
Comfortable shoes are an act of self-love when the party ends close to 5 AM.
